Creative Partnerships Australia | You + the Australian Cultural Fund: A Great Match

Creative Partnerships Australia is offering a one-off matched funding initiative to first-time users of the Australian Cultural Fund (ACF) to give fundraising campaigns a boost. If you’re new to the ACF and have never used the platform to fundraise, you’re eligible for a $2,000 boost to put towards your project, thanks to Creative Partnerships Australia’s Plus1 program. Screenworks | Regional Stories to Screen Across Global Skies

Artists and filmmakers across regional NSW will soon have their stories seen on screens in the sky after Screenworks today announced that the second series of the CREATEABILITY short film collection has been licensed by Virgin Australia for all domestic and international flights. Bello Winter Music 2018 Line-up Announced

While much of the nation is in a splendid spin the small but beautifully formed Bello Winter Music 2018 has also revealed a cracking line-up of more than 70 acts for the boutique winter festival that fills the streets, halls, pubs and cafes of the stunning riverside town of Bellingen on the NSW Mid North Coast from 12 - 15 July, 2018. Four Winds | Four Winds Youth Partnership Creates New Hub

Four Winds and Sydney Youth Orchestras (SYO) have launched the SYO State South Coast Hub for young musicians in South East NSW. This new partnership is an exciting new hub for orchestral music on the Far South Coast of NSW. It is based in Bermagui and will see SYO visiting the region at least twice per year and working with young musicians from this area. Read more

Arts North West | Expressions of Interest, Strategic Advisory Council

Arts North West is changing its governance structure to a skill based board. Expressions of Interest are currently sought from arts and cultural organisations who would like to be part of the Strategic Advisory Council, which reports to the Board of Management of Arts North West. There are up to four vacancies for independent cultural organisations in the New England North West. Read more

Salient Brings Historical Conflict into Contemporary Focus

The new exhibition Salient: Contemporary artists at the Western Front is an opportunity for modern day visitors to reflect upon the impact that the First Word War had upon their own communities. The national tour of the exhibition will commence with its opening at 6.00pm on the evening of Friday 23 March 2018 at the New England Regional Art Museum in Armidale. Read more

Regional NSW Screen Composers on Track for Success

At the start of this year, Screenworks called for applicants for their inaugural Screen Composing Bootcamp. Supported by APRA AMCOS, the boot camp is designed to give two early career screen composers living in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales the opportunity to connect with and learn from two of Australia’s most respected screen composers, Adam Gock and John Gray.
