Grafton Regional Gallery | Artist Residency Call Out

Grafton Regional Gallery is seeking expressions of interest from artists who would like to be an artist in residence during October 8 to November 1, 2018. The 2018 residency will focus on contemporary drawing and interdisciplinary art practices. Regional NSW Screen Composers on Track for Success

At the start of this year, Screenworks called for applicants for their inaugural Screen Composing Bootcamp. Supported by APRA AMCOS, the boot camp is designed to give two early career screen composers living in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales the opportunity to connect with and learn from two of Australia’s most respected screen composers, Adam Gock and John Gray. 2018 will mark the fifth year of the annual CHASS Australia Prizes. The Australia Prizes honour distinguished achievements by Australians working, studying, or training in the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) sectors, including academics, researchers, practitioners, philanthropists, policy makers, and students. Save the Date | Kangaroo Valley Art Prize & Exhibition

Save the date for the Kangaroo Valley $5000 Art Prize and exhibition, with entries open from 15 August to the 12 September. Submissions are invited from all artists. Any two-dimensional work including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital art and mixed media is eligible. Read more

Entries Open for Australia's Richest Undergraduate Writing Prize

Calling all emerging writers: Australia’s richest undergraduate creative writing award is now open for entries. Presented by the Emerging Writers’ Festival, The Monash University Undergraduate Prize for Creative Writing will award $4000 to an undergraduate or honours student for the best work of creative writing.
