Mudgee's Sculptures in the Garden Exhibited its Biggest Ever Collection

Australia’s premier regional sculpture exhibition, Sculptures in the Garden, was held at Rosby winery in Mudgee over the weekend with over 3,500 people attending the much-anticipated annual event, up a thousand people from last year. Special guest and revered patron of Australian art, Wendy Whiteley opened the exhibition, which showcased the largest ever collection of works with nearly 50% sold throughout the weekend. Read more

2018 Hurford Hardwood Portrait Prize | Kendal Gear Announced as Winner of People's Choice Award

Lismore Regional Gallery visitors have spoken, and their take on the Hurford Hardwood Portrait Prize was that Kendal Gear's self-portrait was their winner. Since this national portrait prize opened at Lismore Regional Gallery 8 weeks ago, over 1,000 people have submitted an entry to the People’s Choice Award, which this year has been sponsored by Chandlers Betta Home Living, Lismore. The annual two-day exhibition will again be held in the garden at Rosby vineyard in Mudgee, NSW on the 6th and 7th of October and is expected to attract over 3,000 visitors to the 8th annual event.
