Regeneration Roadtrip - Reconnecting people to natural places

Presented by Navigate Arts and proudly supported by South East Arts, Regeneration Roadtrip is a local artists and community led engagement project that strives to promote community wellbeing and social recovery in fire impacted localities throughout the Queanbeyan-Palerang, Eurobadalla and Bega Valley Shire.

The project is a way to reconnect people with local natural places, rediscovering the beauty and wonder of our native animals and plants. It will also explore supporting activities that are regenerating the natural landscape by slowing down, interacting with and relating to the non-human world in a new way.

A series of free creative workshops and special events from September 2021 to March 2022 will be offered by the lead artists, where they will be working alongside communities to create a mapped, interactive ‘choose your own adventure’ style Roadtrip that highlights places for both tourists and locals alike to slow-down, stop and connect with special places along the route.
