RANSW 2019 a year in review01.04.2020
As the peak organisation representing the Arts in regional NSW, the ongoing work of Regional Arts NSW is vital to the viability of this sector.
We work with the 14 Regional Arts Development Organisations, regionally-based creative organisations and artists, and the Government to develop and deliver programs, funding and opportunities that promote the excellent art practise that happens in regional and remote communities of NSW.
“Choosing to make regional NSW home comes with unique challenges for artists and arts organisations, perhaps the most pressing of which is distance from our capital city, Sydney. RANSW creates a bridge between the regions and the city and it does this quietly, in a myriad of unseen ways,” said RANSW Chair, Julie Briggs.
