Regional Arts NSW appoints Patrick Healey General Manager

The Board and staff at Regional Arts NSW are delighted to welcome Patrick Healey on-board as General Manager.

Prior to joining Regional Arts NSW, Patrick was general manager for four years at one of Australia’s leading regional theatre companies the Northern Rivers Performing Arts (NORPA) based in Lismore NSW. He also served as Co-president of Lismore Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Co-Chair, Creative Lismore and as a Board Advisor to Wundjarri Mali.

Patrick grew up in regional NSW along the mid and north coast where his father worked as a sand miner.  His family is originally from South East Queensland and he is of European and Aboriginal heritage.

Patrick lived in Canada and the US for over twenty years. He began his arts career at the Richmond Gateway Theatre in British Columbia as Audience Services Manager. He also served on the board of Outwest Theatre, the first equity gay and lesbian theatre company in Western Canada; Treasurer of Modern Baroque Opera; and, Arts Editor of BC Angles Magazine.

Patrick is passionate about regional NSW and excited by the prospect of continuing to work and advocate for the regional arts sector, providing oversight and support to the network of Regional Arts Development Organisations across NSW.
