Western Riverina Arts | EOIs Now Open for Four New Public Art Opportunities03.04.2019
Wagga Wagga City Council is calling for expressions of interest for four new public artworks in a variety of forms, as part of its Enliven Public Art Plan 2017 – 2021.
The Plan commissions public art, projection art and event-related works around the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area each year.
The current opportunities available are:
- A large mural alongside the Murrumbidgee River, as part of the Lost Lanes festival ($10,000 budget).
- An artwork at the entrance to Wagga Wagga’s Multi-Purpose Stadium ($35,000)
- An artwork in Wilga Park, in the suburb of Kooringal ($35,000)
- A site-specific artwork, performance or intervention at the Fusion Festival ($10,000).
All applications close 10am on Monday 6 May 2019.
