The Glasshouse is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual with strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills for the part-time position of Gallery Assistant, contracted for 21 hours per week.
The Gallery Assistant provides operational and administrative support to contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of exhibitions and audience development activities within the Glasshouse Regional Gallery.
To be successful in this role you will have tertiary qualifications in visual arts and/or significant operational experience of working in a public gallery or museum environment and should possess high level administration skills with computer literacy in MS Office. You must demonstrate you can work within a team environment, and possess a high level of attention to detail.
Desirable skills include prior experience of working in a local government environment and experience in working with volunteers.


This is a part time role, with a remuneration between $53,311-$60,035 per annum (depending on skills, experience and qualifications) for a 21 hour week worked in accordance with Council’s Flexible Working Hours policy + 9.5% Superannuation
