Don’t miss the opportunity to network with your peers during Sydney’s busiest month of art and culture.
The draft program for Art & Artists: Public Galleries Summit 2018 is now available online and includes an exciting and diverse line-up of speakers, sessions and other activities over four days. Taking place between 18-21 March Art & Artists will bring together staff from galleries throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Held concurrently with the 21st Biennale of Sydney, Art & Artists will focus on the distinction that the visual arts and artists bring to the cultural space. The Summit will present a lively program including panel discussions, workshops and networking events at Carriageworks and other venues across the city.
Highlights of the program include artist Brook Andrew in conversation with Mami Kataoka, Artistic Director of 21st Biennale of Sydney, the Summit dinner curated by 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art and featuring work by Jason Phu and Louise Zhang, offsite sessions at the Art Gallery of NSW, Museum of Contemporary Art Australia and the National Art School, and a performative keynote by Brook Andrew.
