The Grafton Regional Gallery holds the largest collection of artworks on the North Coast of New South Wales and continues to develop its vibrant collections. The Gallery presents over 40 exhibitions and 70 programs and events each year. It is an outstanding public gallery reflecting the passion for the visual arts held by the community of the Clarence Valley.
This is a permanent full time position within Council’s Regional Gallery Unit. The salary range for the position is $79,433 – $94,725, plus superannuation, and has access to a leaseback vehicle.
In the position of Regional Gallery Director you will report to the Director (Environment, Planning and Community), and be responsible for managing the Grafton Regional Gallery, developing the Gallery and various visual arts collections of Clarence Valley Council including the management of procedures for the acquisition and preservation of the permanent collection in accordance with the policies of the Gallery.
The position is located in Grafton.
