Conservatorium Mid North Coast (CMNC) is looking for a dynamic part-time (22.8 hours/week) Project Manager to become the conservatorium’s Head of Agency – Operations.
Conservatorium Mid North Coast delivers music to the Great Lakes, Grater Taree, Kempsey & Port Macquarie-Hastings areas, providing musical education under the motto of helping music prosper. The conservatorium hosts ensembles such as the Choir of Hard Knocks, a Community & Disability Music Theatre Group, and ukulele ensemble, as well as concerts, workshops and private tuition. Conservatorium Mid North Coast serves a broad and musically rich region, with programs attracting children to retirees from the community.
As the lead music education provider in the Mid North Coast region, the role of Head of Agency best suits an experienced musical educator with a strong vision for the growth and future direction of the Conservatorium and its grant related programs. The ideal applicant will have experience in the management of projects, not-for-profits, and in the Directorship of a medium-sized organisation.
This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution and control of grant related programs while ensuring:
- consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals,
- the efficient and effective operation of the Agency
- that our clients’ and communities’ requirements are met.
Applicants will have:
- extensive project management experience
- and/or extensive experience managing a medium sized organisation in a state of change
- able to operate in a legal, legislative and regulatory environment
- experience in a not-for-profit/charity organisation is preferred
