New England Regional Art Museum | Second Myall Creek Lecture Booked Out

The response to the New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM) lecture this Saturday by leading barrister and author Mark Tedeschi QC about the Myall Creek Massacre was  so positive that Mark agreed to present a second lecture on Sunday morning after the first lecture booked out. Since the announcement of this second available lecture, the second lecture has also booked out!

For those who have missed out on the opportunity to hear Tedeschi speak about the Myall Creek Massacre, his book Murder at Myall Creek is available at the NERAM shop. An interview with Tedeschi is also available on the ABC website.

NERAM has also received funding via the Regional Arts Fund in order to send a group of contemporary Aboriginal artists-in-residence to attend the Myall Creek Memorial event in June this year, and will be holding the exhibition Myall Creek and beyond in Armidale (June 2018) to coincide with the 180th anniversary of the Myall Creek Massacre.
