Performance Sunday 26th Feb 3pm
Sydney World Music Chamber Orchestra is set to delight and inspire participants and audiences from the Southern Tablelands Arts region. The eleven piece orchestra is comprised of musicians representing diverse cultural and religious backgrounds who demonstrate and affirm the power of collaboration and respect for diversity through music and performance.

Music will be performed in diverse languages drawn from both ancient and contemporary traditions and from the sacred to pop fusion. Richard Petkovic, Music Director of the Sydney World Music Chamber orchestra says “Our music showcases the future of Australian music by combining our many cultures into music that touches the spirit.”

The region will resonate with a musical program of workshops and performance on the weekend of 25-26 February 2017. The workshop program is offered across three sites in Goulburn, Picton and Yass on Saturday 25 February. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to perform a piece of music with the Orchestra at the Sunday concert at St Saviours Cathedral Hall.
