RANSW Comings and Goings

Former Orana Arts Aboriginal Arts Development Officer, Melissa Ryan, has joined Outback Arts as their Acting Executive Director.  Melissa completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Parks, Recreation and Heritage) with Charles Sturt University in 2007 and began working as the Communications Officer with Orana Arts the same year. After a short break Mel returned to Orana Arts this time in the position of Aboriginal Arts Development Officer. In this role she developed several strong programs working with Aboriginal artists (including Visual Artists, Musicians, Theatre, and Carving) in the Orana region.

Melissa replaces Jamie-Lea Hodges who is currently on maternity leave.  RANSW wishes Jamie-Lea and her family all the best during this exciting time.

RANSW head office welcomes Lexie Reeves as our newest team member.  Lexie was raised in Taree NSW, she studied Fashion Design at East Sydney TAFE and worked as a designer in both Paris and Sydney.   Since 2010, Lexie has been focusing on her documentary photography practice.
