HotHouse Theatre, an adventurous producer and presenter of high quality Australian theatre is looking for a number of people to join its team in 2016.

Based in Albury-Wodonga, on the border of NSW and Victoria, HotHouse also provides artistic and professional development programs for its local community and the surrounding regions of Southern NSW and North East Victoria.

Marketing & Communications Manager – 3 days a week, 12 month contract with possible extension

This part-time position supports the vision and strategic direction of HotHouse through all marketing and communications activities. In 2016 we will be particularly focusing on how we can increase our digital marketing activities. The role oversees and implements the delivery of both production-based and organisational marketing and works closely with the General Manager and Artistic Director.

Wage: $55,000 pro-rata

Live Hubs Manager, 3.5 days a week, 12 month contract with possible extension

The Live Hubs Manager is a new role with responsibility for all aspects of HotHouse customer service including box office and front of house management of the Butter Factory Theatre with a particular focus on space activation of all its sites as lively hubs for artists and audiences to embrace creativity.

Wage: $54,000 pro-rata

Administration Trainee, full-time 12 month contract

In 2016 HotHouse will work with ArtsReady to provide a full-time trainee administration position for a school-leaver. If you have a passion for theatre or the live performing arts, are a hard worker and keen to get an in-depth look at the administration of a busy theatre company, this is the job for you!

Casual Teaching Artists

Demand for the HotHouse Drama School classes is at an all-time high, and the company is seeking to expand its casual teacher and teaching artist base in 2016. If you are a theatre artist or performer with teaching experience, or a teacher with hands-on drama and play-building experience, HotHouse wants to hear from you!
