Gallery Administration Officer – Position No : 1505.000

Cowra Council is currently seeking a self motivated and enthusiastic person with a strong customer ethic, a professional work approach and a genuine interest in the arts and cultural activities of the region.

Reporting directly to the Art Gallery Director, the Administration Officer will need to have relevant experience to assist with the administration and promotion of the gallery’s day to day operations, gallery shop, volunteer activities, and delivery of the gallery exhibitions and public events.

The successful applicant will have experience in an office/administration work environment, demonstrated high level communication, writing and computer skills, together with database and desktop publishing skills, and experience working with and coordinating volunteers.  Art Gallery and/or Museum administration/program experience is highly desirable.
