Murray Arts Bombed the Holbrook Sub!17.06.2014
Yes, folks, they did it.
After a magical mystery tour of spruiking, gathering, stitching and celebration, and contributions from around the world, the 90 metre Holbrook submarine was officially yarnbombed this month.
Murray Arts estimates that it took over 2500 metres of yellow wool to cover the ornamental sub. The wool flowed into the region after they put out the call for donations three months ago.
The project commemorates 50 years since The Beatles toured Australia and will stay in place until July 12.
