National Reconciliation Week 201427.05.2014
Today marks the beginning of National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June). The week is a time for Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements and to explore how each of us can join the national reconciliation effort.
With assistance from the National Film & Sound Archive Black Screen, Orana Arts are holding a Short Film Festival.

All welcome for morning tea and a screening of images profiling local Aboriginal artists and public artworks created along the Water Trail. Images will highlight some positive outcomes from Working Better Together partnership.
This is an invitation to participate in the design of a new public art installation for Cowarra Dam. The Project will include Creative Workshops at both Birpai and Bunyah LALC in July, and it is intended that the new artwork will be completed and ready for celebration during Reconciliation Week 2015.
