Applications are now open for 2014 Regional Theatre Project funding.
Regional Theatre Project funding supports the development of theatre in regional NSW. The aim of this funding is to build the capacity of regional organisations and artists to produce and present professional theatre, develop new audiences, and develop the skills of emerging theatre makers in regional areas.
Funding can be used for a variety of projects that support professional theatre practice in regional NSW. Projects eligible for funding could include skills development and mentoring for emerging arts practitioners, partnerships between Sydney and regional arts organisations, the creation of locally based theatre, the presentation of short play festivals and opportunities for regional artists to bring their work to new audiences.
Regional arts organisations, partnerships or groups are eligible to apply.
Funding range: up to $60,000 for 1 year or up to $75,000 for one to two years.
The closing date for applications is Midnight, Thursday 10 April 2014.
