Rough Cut | Culcairn Film Workshop25.09.2013
The Country Arts Support Program is an Arts NSW devolved funding program, administered by Regional Arts NSW and local Regional Arts Boards on behalf of the NSW Government.
In October, thanks to funding from the CASP, Greater Hume Shire is running a workshop in Culcairn which will train young people in the basics of film, video and TV production.
The course is a highly interactive 2-day workshop that will have attendees getting involved with the whole video production process including:
- concepting and writing their own script
- filming with professional cameras
- a final screening of all the work created during the course
“Rough Cut” will be facilitated and guided by professionals working in the video production industry including international reporter Laticia Gibson (formerly of Today Tonight) and will allow the attendees to draw knowledge and skills from people working in the industry.
All of this is only $10 for the 2 day workshop including meals on both days!
Anyone between the age of 12-18 who has an interest in any aspect of TV, film or video production is encouraged to sign up for the workshop and come along.
