Arts Funding Program and Arts & Cultural Policy Review04.07.2013
The state Minister for the Arts, George Souris, has announced that the state government will review the Arts Funding Program (AFP) at the same time as reviewing the Arts and Cultural Policy for NSW.
The process will look at revisions to the 2015 Program which will be shaped to meet the current needs of our arts and cultural sectors
The website says: “The review will inform recommendations for a revised 2015 Program which is and ensure that we have an effective, efficient, equitable and sustainable funding model to support artists and arts and cultural organisations.”
You are encouraged to share your thoughts, ideas and feedback on the issues raised in the discussion paper (available for download on the website) either by making a formal response and/or participate in a consultation session.
Regional consultations are taking place during July. Those who are interested in attending need to register via the website or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org noting the session of interest :
