2014 RAF ROUND OPENS02.06.2013
The 2014 Regional Arts Fund (RAF) is now open to applications for arts projects that will be funded next year.
One in three Australians live in regional, rural and remote parts of Australia, and the RAF Fund recognises this and supports sustainable cultural development in these communities in NSW.
Assistance available for this category will be from a minimum of $5,000 up to a maximum of $30,000. Applications will be accepted until 15 August 2013.
Funding is targeted at activities that will have long-term cultural, economic and social benefits for individuals and communities by:
- Developing partnerships and cultural networks
- Providing artists with professional development and employment opportunities
- Supporting arts and community development projects that provide local communities with the opportunity to participate in, and access cultural activities
- Emphasising building capacity in disadvantaged, youth, very remote and/or Indigenous communities
Last year, 22 projects were successfully funded by the RAF, with $393,040 going to projects throughout the state.
To assist you with your application, please read the Regional Arts NSW Grant Writing Guide.
