The Culture, Arts, Tourism and Community Heritage CATCH program was established by the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal  to provide grants for projects and activities that offer clear public benefit for communities of fewer than 10,000 across rural and remote Australia.

The funding may go towards things such as capital items, equipment, extension programs to remote areas, events and activities which have a demonstrable economic benefit to the community, and intergenerational activities.

Target Groups: museums, community arts groups, progress associations, event organizers, cultural groups etc

Looking for projects that are: community based/grass roots development, have a level of sustainability or direct contribution to the economic fabric of that community, sharing of assets amongst community groups, projects which take a group to the next level of sophistication, projects that preserve community heritage using approved methods, collaborative arts models that are as inclusive as possible.

Grants: up to $20,000

Population preference: 10,000 or less
