Birrang > Opportunity for Regional Dancers

RANSW has partnered with Ausdance NSW and Bangarra Dance Theatre in association with NAISDA Dance College, Carriageworks and the Australian Film, Television and Radio School to develop Birrang, a program of opportunities developed for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander dance artists based in NSW.

This unique opportunity is open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander dancers aged over 21 and with at least 3 years’ experience or training.  The program has been created to develop and sustain new career pathways, work with leading Indigenous artists, build professional skills and networks, and share creative ideas.

Birrang aims to broaden the horizons of Aboriginal dancers by exposing them to a range of workshops, courses and residency.  It is an incredible program not to be missed.
