One River project | Expressions of interest for art projects01.10.2012
The One River project presents an opportunity for the Centenary of Canberra and the project team to collaborate with skilled and innovative regional artists and communities from across five states and territories and to hear and appreciate their stories and experiences. One River will support art projects in 8-10 Murray-Darling Basin communities, leading primarily to local presentation outcomes and then also the re-presentation of artwork in Canberra. Local projects will take place throughout the Basin during the first half of 2013, with the overall project culminating in Canberra in August 2013. The appointment of local artists will be via expressions of interest which will include a proposal for a local project. One River will be launched in Goolwa on 20 October 2012 as part of the Regional Arts Australia national biennial conference. Find out more about the project here.
