2012 Australian International Animation Festival Success!01.06.2012
Wagga Wagga’s Australian International Animation Festival (AIAF) has celebrated its ninth birthday this May attracting entries from filmmakers in 30 countries. 3D artist Rowan Karrer says the power of animation to tell any story may be what attracts international artists and believes the festival holds just as much prestige as Cannes film festival, held in the same month. Although the festival has passed for this year, the AIAF offers a touring program driven by quality programming and a passion to challenge and inspire audiences with thematic, visual and technical diversity. At the moment there are two programs available: the International Showcase and the Australian Showcase. Visit the AIAF website to find out more.
